🚀 High-Flying Day with Executive EMBA: A Glimpse into Swiss Aviation Excellence – Pilatus Aircraft Ltd ! ✈️
The EMBA cohort of 2023-2025 were welcomed to the hangar for a turbocharged day of insights and inspiration—Swiss aviation style: Pilatus Aircraft! It was a day designed to showcase how Pilatus craft the skies with precision and passion, right here in Switzerland, their proud aviation hub while the cohort make their thesis pitches.
🌟 Morning Ascent:
The day took off with Pitch 8 supervised by Michael Hilb, where the EMBA stars presented their thesis projects. Their ideas soared, showing off on various heights from corporate, entrepreneur and technology topics. Some of the highlights were:
Fernanda spoke about “How does emotional intelligence influence the leadership effectiveness of female expats?” Is there a correlation with leadership success and the mitigation of gender biased
Medelina pitched about “AI Driven Business Transformation – The Case of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd using the ‘PAIR’ Model for readiness”, offering a visionary look at readiness in integrating AI
🍽️ Midday Refuel:
Next, we ascended to an amazing lunch with a runway view that only a few can dream of—watching aircraft like the sleek PC-21 gracefully touch down and take off, right from our table. Talk about a meal with a view!
🏭 Touring the Tarmac:
Post-lunch, we rolled out into the grand tour of the facilities where the magic happens. The highlight? A thrilling close encounter with a PC-21 taxing. We felt the rush of the engines and even exchanged handshakes with our ace pilots—a truly grounding experience amidst the day's high-flying agenda!
💌 Touchdown with Thanks:
The grand finale featured a heartwarming thank you note from our HR team, appreciating everyone who joined and contributed to a landmark day in our corporate calendar.
🌐 What a Day! From theoretical pitches to the tangible roar of airplane engines and the unforgettable sight of aircraft in action, it was a full-throttle experience of what makes Swiss aviation a beacon of excellence.
